I Shot the Leica Store Kyoto with a Hasselblad
I had three Leicas with me but opted for the 100MP Hasselblad goodness
I mentioned in the previous post that I was visiting a camera store in the Gion neighborhood in Kyoto. That post featured timeless black-and-white photos I shot with the Leica M Monochrom Typ 246. For my signature image from the Leica Store, I opted for a color image at a significantly higher resolution. I busted out the Hasselblad X2D, a 100MP cropped medium-format camera. One of four cameras I brought on my half-day excursion to Kyoto.
Is it bad form to shoot a Leica Store with a Hasselblad?
One of the goals of my Hasselblad is to capture high-resolution architectural images, both interiors and exteriors, of places I find visually interesting. The moody and dark converted historic Japanese structure with vibrant red accents surely qualifies.
